Jab Harry Met Sejal

Jab Harry Met Sejal” Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Evelyn Sharma, Sayani Gupta, Chandan Roy Sanyal; directed by Imtiaz Ali; music by Pritam.

Since her 2008 debut in “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” with Shah Rukh Khan, there’s been no looking back for Anushka Sharma. We loved her in “Band Baaja Baaraat,” “PK,” and “NH10.” After “Raees” and “Dear Zindagi” last year, King Khan returns as a somewhat unconventional romantic hero, to the delight of his many fans, playing tourist guide Harinder Singh Nehra. Anushka Sharma is Sejal, a young Gujarati, who seeks his assistance to find something she lost while on vacation. He reluctantly agrees and the story revolves around their adventures across Europe searching for Sejal's missing engagement ring. The quest helps Harry understand love and relationships, while Sejal experiences a new sense of freedom and security. Filming locations include Amsterdam, Lisbon, Budapest and more. Expectations are high for this entertainer from the director of “Jab We Met,” “Love Aaj Kal” and “Highway.” Pritam’s soundtrack is a winner too.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” Starring Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher, Sana Khan; directed by Shree Narayan Singh; music by Vickey Prasad, Manas-Shikhar, Sachet-Parampara.

Based on a real-life love story, Akshay Kumar is Keshav from Nandgaon and Bhumi Pednekar plays Jaya from Barsana. After finally realizing his dream to be married, conflict arises soon after the wedding. Jaya leaves Keshav’s house after discovering that there is no toilet. Keshav sets out on mission to win back his love by having a toilet built. There are several obstacles to overcome; first, he must battle traditions and old thinking, from the panchayat to the sanitation department, the government and superstitions of villagers. Keshav’s journey is standing up for this cause. Will Jaya give in to Keshav’s efforts? This is the true story of women in rural India who must walk miles away from their homes to go to the bathroom. The film takes a satirical, light-hearted look at this serious matter of sanitation and safety.

A Gentleman

A Gentleman” Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Darshan Kumar, Suniel Shetty; directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK; music by Sachin-Jigar.

Shot in our very own Sunshine State, this action-packed comedy tells a story of mistaken identity. Sidharth Malhotra stars as Gaurav, a young man who seems to have it all, a house and steady job. He’s now on a mission to settle down. The girl of his dreams is Kavya played by Jacqueline Fernandez. However, Kavya is in no hurry and wishes he was a bit more exciting and adventurous, like Rishi, who’s the opposite of Gaurav. An assignment brings Gaurav to Mumbai and a twist ensues with danger following him back to Miami. Gaurav’s life is shaken up and he stands to lose everything he’s worked for. The lead pair looks great together. The makers call it a thrill ride, complete with action, romance and laughter. The catchy party song “Disco Disco” is sure to be a hit.
