"Luck by Chance": Starring Farhan Akhtar, Konkona Sen Sharma, Hrithik Roshan, Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Juhi Chawla; directed by Zoya Akhtar; music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

The Hindi film industry is the backdrop of this film written and directed by Zoya Akhtar starring her brother. Farhan Akhtar plays Vikram Jaising who comes to Bombay hoping to become a big film star. Along the way, he gets help from friends, including Abhimanyu played by Arjun Mathur, a TV actor who gives Vikram a place to stay. Konkona Sen Sharma plays a junior artist and Hrithik Roshan makes a brief appearance as a superstar. The story revolves around these actors and Vikram's struggles for success. It is considered an expose of the industry, where superstitions, egos and self-advancement prompt every decision. Watch for numerous stars in cameos including, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Kareena Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar.

Lara Dutta and Irfaan Khan team up in "Billo Barber"
"Billo Barber": Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Irfaan Khan, Lara Dutta, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav, Om Puri; directed by Priyadarshan; music by Pritam.

Irrfan Khan plays a village barber named Billo in this story of friendship directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. Billo's business is running slow because he hasn't kept up with changing styles. One day, a film unit arrives in the village to shoot a movie staring a superstar who was once Billo's school friend. All of a sudden, Billo's standing in the community changes, and he becomes highly respected. Everyone wants him to meet the superstar Sahil Khan, played by Shah Rukh Khan. But Billo is worried about his status and fears Sahil may not recognise him anymore. When his attempts to meet the star are unsuccessful, the villagers think Billo has been making up stories to gain some recognition. In a twist towards the end, the true nature of the friendship between Billo and the superstar is exposed to all. Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone make guest appearances in songs with Shah Rukh Khan.

Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan star in "Delhi 6."
"Delhi 6": Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Waheeda Rahman, Rishi Kapoor, Atul Kulkarni, Divya Dutta, Om Puri, Pavan Malhotra, Supriya Pathak; directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra; music by A. R. Rahman.

After "Rang De Basanti," director Rakeysh Mehra is back with a movie reportedly inspired from his childhood growing up in the Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. Abhishek Bachchan plays the American-born Roshan, who brings his ailing grandmother played by Waheeda Rahman back to India. Expecting a quick trip, Roshan doesn't realize it will soon turn into his longest journey ever. Featuring an ensemble cast, the makers haven't released many details of the story but you can expect the ancient walled city known as Chandni Chawk to be a central character. The title is inspired from the pin code of that area in Delhi. The director considers Delhi a microcosm of India. After a successful debut with "Sawariya," Sonam Kapoor stars as the female lead. Rishi Kapoor plays a wealthy Nawab-type character who befriends Roshan. Also paramount is the film's music, yet another brilliant offering from maestro A.R. Rahman.
