Expectations are high for this thriller produced by Sujoy Ghosh, the director/producer/writer of the gripping mystery “Kahaani.” Amitabh Bachchan stars as John Biswas, a grandfather on a quest seeking justice for his granddaughter Angela. Eight years have passed since he lost her, after a tragic kidnapping incident. John and his wife Nancy are forever scarred. While the world has moved forward, John has not. His relentless quest continues, he goes to the police station daily, where he is shunned and snubbed. He seeks the help of Martin Das, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Das is a former cop-turned-priest who has one thing in common with John; Angela’s death had a life altering impact on him also. One day, there’s another kidnapping, the scenario seems identical to Angela’s. Father Martin is pulled into the investigation by cop Sarita Sarkar played by Vidya Balan. While the priest and the cop tackle the new kidnapping, John doggedly pieces together the identity of Angela’s kidnapper from little bits of information that he collects through his own investigations. The makers say the two parallel investigations build into an explosive, emotionally charged film. Starring three exceptional actors, it’s entirely likely. It features a soulful song 
by Bachchan.
