  HINDI MOVIE RELEASES EXPECTED THIS MONTH

One of the most anticipated releases of the year Yash-Raj's "Tashan" features an all-star cast, loads of style and heart-stopping action scenes. The debutante director previously wrote the screenplays for the "Dhoom" films. Circumstances cause two guys who hate each other to be thrown together on a wild journey. Saif Ali Khan plays Jimmy Cliff, a call center executive who's a real Casanova. Akshay Kumar plays Bachchan Pande, a gangster with a lengthy police record.

Add to the mix Pooja, played by Kareena Kapoor a beautiful girl who's not to be trusted. Their journey across magnificent India will change their lives and force them to trust one another to stay alive. And all the while, stay safe from Anil Kapoor who plays Bhaiyaji, a self-made man gone from pulling rickshaws to maverick mobster. Kerala, Laddakh, Rajasthan and Haridwar are some of the places the film was shot. Check out Kareena's svelte new look. The film's rhythmic soundtrack is sure to be a chart-topper.



Amitabh Bachchan plays the title role in "Bhoothnath."

Bhoothnath is the supernatural story of a naughty young boy and a ghost who become unlikely friends who help each other in various walks of life. Aman Siddiqui plays Banku, a boy who loves to play pranks, make up stories, and trouble his mom, played be Juhi Chawla. His family moves into a new house they don't know is haunted. Amitabh Bachchan plays Bhoothnath, the grumpy supernatural resident of "Nath Villa." Possessive about his home, Bhoothnath is annoyed with the new tenants he views as intruders. He tries to scare them away, but eventually befriends the 7-year-old boy.

They soon develop a special relationship and are inseparable playing pranks everywhere. Banku decides to discover the reasons behind Bhoothnath's wandering spirit and helps him attain salvation. Meanwhile, Bhoothnath also helps Banku. The makers promise a film with a little innocence, little playfulness and a lot of emotions sure to touch your heart.



Sikander Kher debuts in "Woodstock Villa."
"Woodstock Villa": Starring Sikander Kher, Neha Uberoi, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Sachin Khedekar; directed by Hansal Mehta; music by Anu Malik

This suspense thriller introduces Sikander Kher, son of Anupam and Kirron Kher in the lead role. Newcomer Neha Uberoi was last seen in a segment of "Dus Kahaniyaan." Promising to shock, thrill, and surprise, the film displays the changing moralities in today's world. With the tagline of "Where the truth lies," you know things are not all as they seem when a successful businessman's beautiful wife suddenly disappears.

Threatening ransom demands follow but slowly the true stakes for the captor and his captive are revealed. Pleading eyes and bound wrists give way to a web of deceit. The makers say "Woodstock Villa" transforms from film noir into a chilling thriller full of twists. Sanjay Dutt makes an appearance in a special song number with the band Aryan. The film is produced by Sanjay Gupta and Shobha and Ekta Kapoor.
