Two Khaas Baat sections? You better believe it! Last month, we had jumped 4 pages to 24. In September, we are adding four bringing the total to 28, which includes more color too.

We welcome Dr. Payal Patel, a board-certified pediatrician in Tampa, who has kicked off a new column on Childrens Health for us.

Our congrats to Dr. Rao Musunuru for being selected as Outstanding Professional of the Year 2006 by the Federation of Indian Associations of Tampa Bay. Kudos also go out to Tim Madhanagopal of Orange County for receiving three engineering awards in West Palm Beach.

And of course, this months issue is packed with news about upcoming events revolving around the festival season, as well as our regular columns. We urge everyone to try to attend as many events as possible. We have listed several on this page and the corresponding page.

Thanks once again to our advertisers for their tremendous support in making Khaas Baat the only complete newspaper to offer news about the Indian American community in the Sunshine State.

If you would like to receive a copy of our newspaper every month, please e-mail us at [email protected]. Thanks for your support.

We would like to once again extend our sincere gratitude to all advertisers and well-wishers. Do e-mail us at [email protected] with any ideas and suggestions or send in a letter to the editor.

Please e-mail your suggestions and comments to [email protected].
