During summer, the activities in Florida may slow down but they never stop. Take for instance the July 27 golf invitational organized by the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce in Tampa. The fundraiser to support the chambers free monthly events should make for some fun tee time.

Seniors in the community now can attend two monthly get-togethers, one held by the Olderly Mighty Seniors of Gujarati Samaj of Tampa Bay on July 8 and the other by the India Cultural Center on July 18. And if the atrocities after the 1984 assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi still are fresh in your minds, then we suggest checking out Amu, being screened at the Hippodrome Cinema in Gainesville.

Down in South Florida, Hindi film enthusiasts can see Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu in a musical concert. The Bollywood singers will take the stage at the Omni Auditorium on July 8.
