Things are heating up at Khaas Baat, just in time for summer. This month, we have increased our monthly printed circulation and can proudly claim to now have a readership of 20,000 in the entire state of Florida.

As always, we have a plate full here for our readers. First, our congratulations go to Ravi Sankar of the Central Florida area (Oviedo) for being one of five individuals chosen to receive President Bushs Volunteer Service Award (story, page 3). Also, our Bollywood columnist Jyothi Venkatesh chats with every girls heartthrob, Hrithik Roshan, on the eve of the release of his 12th film Krrish (story, page 18). And thank you Dr. Ram Ramcharran for his contribution on Special Needs Trusts (story, page 10). The young ones will like the new Kids Corner (page 6) by Krish Seetharaman, a new monthly column. Do send us your feedback on this monthly column.

We received a good response to our plans to recognize accomplishments of our graduates with a high school senior roundup in the next issue. To include your graduate, please e-mail us at [email protected] the high school seniors name, school name, some achievements/awards, and future plans, including college name and intended course of study.

We would like to once again extend our sincere gratitude to all advertisers and well-wishers. Do e-mail us at [email protected] with any ideas and suggestions or send in a letter to the editor.

Please e-mail your suggestions and comments to [email protected].
