Happy Holidays to our readers and well-wishers! The festival of colors will be celebrated in numerous Florida communities as you can see from our extensive coverage on page 28. Also, in March, India Festivals are held in Melbourne, Gainesville, Jacksonville and Orlando (story, page 1). Vendor booths will offer Indian jewelry, clothing, films DVDs and CDs, arts and crafts at each of the festivals. And of course, there will be a wide variety of catered cuisine to satisfy any palate.
As the Republican National Convention in Tampa nears, several businesses in the West Central Florida area and beyond could benefit by attending the Tampa INDO-US Chamber of Commerce’s meeting on March 21. The 2012 Tampa Bay Host Committee COO Matt Becker will highlight “What to Expect for the Republican National Convention.” For details, check out the chamber’s Business Beat centerspread on pages 16 and 17.
