FIRST FILM SCHOOL TO BE HELD FEB. 4-5 IN TAMPA
The India International Film Festival of Tampa Bay (IIFF) is the first South Asian Film Festival in the country to launch an independent film school for aspiring filmmakers. The two-day film school will take place on Feb. 4-5. The opportunity allows students to get hands-on training with high-quality equipment while honing their craft through one-on-one lessons from experienced film professionals. It has lined up a team of instructors who have a wealth of knowledge in both television and film production. During the film school, students will learn about a wide range of topics, including screenwriting, pre-production, sound, lighting and camera operation. Most important, the students will produce their own short films, which will debut at the film festival. The film school costs $179.99 and seating is limited.
