JUNE 2015
Khaas Baat : A Publication for Indian Americans in Florida

Editor's Note

By NITISH S. RELE and SHEPHALI J. RELE

As the temperatures rise, so do the events in Florida. We have a newspaper packed with regular columns and numerous upcoming activities such as a talk by Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on June 18 in Tampa and the 33rd annual American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin Convention June 18-21 in Orlando. Check out some sumptuous recipes in the review of Hari Nayak’s “The Café Spice Cookbook.” Our occasional Rele Cool Getaways column returns with a visit to Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel & Convention Center in Orlando.

Congrats to the graduates of 2015. If you know an accomplished graduate, tell us about it. E-mail [email protected] with graduate in the subject line, be sure to include name and contact information. And Happy Father’s Day to all the dads.

Feel strongly about a topic? Send us a letter to the editor. We also welcome your story ideas and suggestions. Community organizers, inform us about future events in your town. Do follow us on twitter @khaasbaat and join us on Facebook for details about late-breaking events. Khaas Baat is proud to be the ONE AND ONLY Sunshine State publication to offer comprehensive coverage of happenings in your Florida Indian community.
