The festive season many of you have been waiting for is upon us. And there are several activities around the state you may want to attend, including musical programs, plays, films and workshops.

Take out your finest attire for Navratri as celebrations will be under way this month (check our listing of Navratri events in your town). And after you’ve rested your feet from all that dancing, head to the University of South Florida Sun Dome in Tampa for the 23rd annual India Festival Oct. 30 and watch the colorful display by children of all ages as they compete in various traditional dance categories.
