This mega-budget science fiction film is the Hindi version of the Tamil “Endhiran,” and features superstars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Dr. Vasi fights to save the Robot from falling into the hand of the enemies and destroys the evil forces using the Robot itself. Danny Denzongpa plays the villainous Dr. Borah. This action-packed film is full of dazzling visual effects. Shooting took place at various exotic locales, including Machu Picchu, Brazil, Goa and Himachal Pradesh.

John Abraham lies for love in “Jhootha Hi Sahi.”

“Jhootha Hi Sahi”
Starring John Abraham, Pakhi Tyrewala, R. Madhavan, Raghu Ram, Manasi Scott, Anaitha Nair, Nandana Sen; directed by Abbas Tyrewala; music by A.R. Rahman.

After a successful debut with his first film, “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na,” director Abbas Tyrewala brings us a more mature romantic comedy, which stars his wife Pakhi, who also wrote the story. John Abraham plays Siddharth, a small bookshop owner who happens to be a compulsive liar. His life revolves around a close circle of friends and girlfriend Krutika, played by Manasi Scott. Unexpectedly a girl, Mishka, played by Pakhi Tyrewala comes into his life and he tells a lot of lies to her also. The film moves around how Siddharth gets into trouble because of the lies. If you had a secret hotline to the heart of the girl you love and all you had to do was lie to manipulate her every choice, what would you do? Hang up the phone or lie for love? John Abraham appears in a new and different look in the film. The makers say “Jhootha Hi Sahi” is story about lies, fun and friendship but mostly it’s about love. And let’s not forget the refreshing, light-hearted compositions from maestro A.R. Rahman.
