Seasons greetings to all our readers. You will notice that we have packed this last issue of the year with numerous festival-related events such as Diwali, India Festival and even Thanksgiving (thank you, Arun Marballi for your quick turnaround on this story).

If you can, please try to help out the Gujarati Samaj of Tallahassee Hindu Temple, which burned down on Nov. 3. Aakash Patel, our contributor out of the Capitol, has written a story on the fire, which practically razed the entire 17-year-old religious building.

We are introducing another financial columnist Rupa Mehta of New York Life. And if you are looking to travel to Africa with your family for a reunion, take advantage of Safari Ventures tours to that continent. You will enjoy every minute of your trip, promises Niru Patel of Safari Ventures.

Once again, we want to thank our well-wishers and advertisers for making Khaas Baat such a huge success.

We will see you all once again in the New Year. Till then, enjoy the holidays and happy reading.

Please e-mail your suggestions and comments to [email protected]. And letters to the editor are more than welcome!

Letters To The Editor
I am writing to express my deep gratitude to Khaas Baat and the writer of the column for seniors. Mr. Harikrishna Majmundar has always been answering my questions on Medicare and Medicaid with utmost promptitude and attention. His answers have helped me a lot seeing that no help is available to us in this area.

And all this, at no cost. It is rare in this age to find someone doing work of such monetary importance at no cost. His selfless attitude deserves admiration.

Please convey my sincere thanks to him through the columns of your periodical. I must thank you also to have enlisted the services of such a kind person for the benefit of the readers of Khaas Baat.
